At least make /auction global too so we can turn off ooc and still see people selling stuff. Some people play the game to actually play a game. If I wanted to chat with kids I'd go to yahoo.

Global ooc needs to go to grow pop and if it removes cancerous players who only log on to troll at the same time then its a bonus effect

Global OOC makes the server less of a ghost town. Plus it helps support the server's anemic economy.

Rose colored glasses obviously being worn in this thread. I remember the server before global ooc and it was a ghost town, I wouldn't interact with other plays for weeks at a time leveling up. I guess it's just because I'm more mature than some people that I can read the ooc and just roll my eyes as people embarrass themselves by acting like fools and move on without feeling like justice needs to be invoked. The tools are there for anyone who doesn't enjoy it to just remove it. Switch it to a window and minimize it off screen, or put people on ignore the choice is yours but removing it from the server is just detrimental.

also pre global ooc was 800 pop on release, ur point?
