Yes, getting your epic is impossible unless you sell your soul to TMO and work for them 87 hours a day 7 days a week. This is why no one on the server has their epic unless they are in TMO. Play the game, ignore the forums.

You basically have a 0% chance of getting your epic right now.

I mean, that's what epics are, really. They are hard to get. You either are in a raiding guild, or you have a lot of money, or you have a bunch of high-level friends AND get very lucky. Even in Velious it's not like you can just waltz into KC and find VSR and solo him at level 50.

If you don't want to do at least one of those things, then you shouldn't have an epic. People rage about TMO, but this is classic imo.

You can pretty much ignore any post that doesn't break it down by class. You are going to have a tougher time with epics that require an item from a contested mob. Shouldn't really have too much difficulty if you are a:
Paladin
Rogue
Enchanter
Shaman
Monk
Cleric
Warrior

Some of those classes have a bit more difficulty than others. The classes I didn't list have mobs that are highly contested, but there is no epic mob you have no shot at. My apologies if my list is off, I don't really remember every item needed for a lot of epics.

I will add though, that as Tecmos said epics aren't supposed to be something easy to get. Not a bunch of people had them in my experience on Kunark, and you definitely need strong support to do many of them.

I am sure SOME people in TMO have RMT'ed but I bet SOME people in EVERY guild have RMT'ed. Hell maybe you have? Maybe I have? Why do you just keep bringing up the TMO shit every thread you post?? Well, he did ask about 1 class specifically so telling him to ignore people that are answering his specific question is a bit off base. And if you consider his "not in a raid guild and don't have high-level friends and don't have a buncha money" then basically every epic is impossible for him unless he is going to change one or more of those things. Even a rogue epic is probably out of reach for a person who needs to ask about the chances of completing a ranger epic (not slamming the guy, just pointing out someone who doesn't know the answer to that question already is probably not someone who has been on the server long enough to make 50k to buy a ragebringer).

I'm sure there are isolated incidents of RMT within TMO just like there is everywhere, but I can confidently assert the nonexistence of any grand RMT scheme within the guild! Anyone who takes an honest look at the holdings of our core would have trouble believing otherwise. We're fucking nerds and just want to get ahead in the game; I wouldn't trade my p99 presence for anything less than a million dollars.

Sorry to take this a little off topic, but I think OP's question was answered. VS is hugely contested on blue, and you'll have to get REALLY lucky to get him outside of TMO/other big raid guild.
