Gatorsmash Maul quest
 

Has anyone completed this quest? I tried asking around in game but not many people have done this quest.

from p1999 wiki: "Lork sends you off to kill the two ambassadors of Neriak and bring him their hearts. One of them is found in Oggok behind the shaman caves, there's a lonesome bouncer standing in one of the caves there. At certain hours (somewhere in 7AM or such) he despawns and Ambassador K'Ryn spawns on his place. Kill him and loot his heart (he also drops a Dragoon Dirk very often, which is a nice bonus)."

Now Following these directions and waiting for K'Ryn in Oggok, I've waited for a day or so and no despawn, maybe im at the wrong spot.. or maybe its bugged?

All I know is Bouncer Raan does not despawn. Not sure if he's the one you're waiting on.

2) Ambassador K'Ryn

between hours of 5am till noon the ogre guard at #2 on map does not despawn into K'ryn, am I suppose to kill this ogre? I would assume that would result in a faction hit.

Sounds to me like a Dark Elf would spawn there - just judging by the name...

I did this quest on P99. There is an Ogre bouncer in one of those 3 little caves by the Shaman Guild. Not sure if it is #2 up there on the map, but it's one of those 3 rooms, there's a bed in there.

He despawns and the Dark Elf Ambassador pops in his place 2 game hours later I believe. You don't have to kill any ogres. He dropped the dagger every time I killed him.

This guy does not de-spawn into Ambassador K'Ryn. I really want this hammer, hope this quest gets sorted out soon.

I've tried tracking between 7-10 for people looking to do the quest and he didn't show up, if that helps.

bump, hate to keep bringing this up, however if i could get a confirmation from a dev that this matter would be looked into, or if I'm simply doing the quest wrong, it would be much appreciated.

id suggest camping it longer, since gametime seems to be an issue for a lot of spawn timers (see Kithicor undead, Ancient Cyclops, etc)

you might be missing it because the time/spawn math is off.

just camped Bouncer Gronk for an entire game day, No despawn. I think its safe to say this quest is bugged, unless anyone knows otherwise
