Did any of you guys play asherons call pvp?

I was about to pre buy asherons call 2 and the guys like yo dude get asherons call 1 it’s way better.

So I just bought luclin instead lol

Dude there is a x1000 more RMT, boxing and cheating on Green and blue compared to probably Red servers entire life. It’s not even comparable

Bro everyone on the planet that has ever heard of project 1999 knows that red 1.0 should be wiped, reset, or a second server made. It hasn't happened yet. People come through the forums complaining on a periodic basis.

We just look for signs and prepare ourselves.

Best thing to do is play vztz to stay fresh and get to know some of the psychopaths you will be encountering on red 2.0

Not that I'm doing that, but thats what I would do if I wanted to have best victory at 2.0 at the very least because of knowing my enemy.

It doesn't effect green or blue, on red you are directly competing for resources and those resources lead to more resources in a domino effect

On Blue or green a AoN is worth fuck all but on red it is the most expensive RMT'd item there is, one loser can drop a few thousand buy 6 AoN's and make an entire raid group skeletons with no nametags leading to targeting confusion from hell and a gigantic PvP advantage.

Once one guild grows large and geared enough no other group in the game gets items leading to server pop death, this has traditionally been done with RMT on Red.

No amount of RMT will kill blue or green, on red it will.

Imagine thinking people still pay decent money for anything on red (they don’t)

I was talking about when it had a pop, which was obvious to everyone with the developmental brain of a 12 year old. WTF cares about what goes on with the 20 man pop of blues raiding uncontested.

Even if red does have a few scumbags, who cares. Every game has toxic players. Not sure why it should kill it for all of the other people who enjoy it for what it is. Red99 was the most fun I've had in a game in a long time.

Green/Blue are OK but I really like the extra aspect and thrill pvp brings to the game, even as a mostly pve oriented player. It totally changes the dynamic of the game. As old as EQ is, it's still my favorite MMO of all time.

I hope we get a "purple" or some sort of pvp version of green one day.

You clearly never played on Red, it's a fucking cesspool, it's not a few bad apples, it's more like a pool of radioactive shit you would have to dive through to find one good apple.

The majority would scream racial slurs all day if they weren't monitored constantly, over 70% are actively trying to either run showEQ, MQ, or multibox. Any rules put into place become a constant lobbyquest to GM's where you have to sift through rivers of lies to find out who is framing who.

All you blues and greens wanna claim it's the same as red yet red remains the GM Afghanistan, claiming at least 3 GM's and 1 dev.
