A. Jan 8, 2025 - Governor Newsom has dramatically ramped up state work to increase wildland and forest resilience, as well as adding unprecedented resources to support wildfire response. California officials treated more than 700,000 acres of land for wildfire resilience in 2023, and prescribed fires more than doubled between 2021 and 2023. B. Trump delivers water promise to San Joaquin Valley. That’s not how Newsom sees it Newsom outlined a $5.2 billion water-sharing agreement that the governor’s team hopes will end tensions between shipping river water to farms and cities San Joaquin Valley is much farther north and Trump was referring to water to the farms. Gavin Newsom was looking out for both the farms and the cities of California. C. -Fire Season is from May to October ... Not January -The placement of the fires is unusual to the map of past fires in CA -FIVE different fires in all well spread out and miles and miles part in the same area. -Just with in the last two months before Gavin Newsom said he would fight Trump on illegal immigration issues. *Trump threatens to with hold emergency funding support. Way too convenient for one of his supporters to not take action. Which they have been lately in two other events recently in the US. |

Just nitpicking LA for the sake of levity, but apparently another goof did cause a bit of brief panic for 10mil people…

This seemed like useful info
I do agree that humans do tend to come together, sometimes in astounding ways, in times of tragedy and that CA will likely be strengthened in the long run (emphasis on long though) |

California is a joke, it has the GDP of most countries and can't build a train, it can't protect its citizens, and it needed 2 bailouts from the feds in the last 3 years for people who own homes in the 2-50million price range. This entire fire would be averted if we never even had 1 democrat in existence. All they do is let street criminals out of jail, bail out rich people, and call anyone in-between a nazi. The feds swooped in and covered all the costs in the RICHEST STATE while abandoning hawaii and NC. Disgusting. Californians and democrats: California could succeed from the union and be better off than the rest of the country! meanwhile: HELP HELP WE ARE OUT OF MONEY AND ON FIRE AND THE RICH PEOPLE NEED A BANK BAILOUT! I hope trump is every bit the fascist dictator you all said he would be. Californians shouldn't get 1 red cent from the state. I wish trump was president right now. |

and AI says "The state of California is well funded and has one of the most advance means when dealing with forest fires. With more than 16 helicopters with several equipped for night operations, expanded five helitack bases, and assumed ownership of seven C-130 air tankers, making it the largest fleet of its kind globally." TWO BAILOUTS FROM THE FEDS TWO BAILOUTS FROM THE FEDS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HOMES IN THE 2-50 MILLION DOLLAR PRICE RANGE. Everything the left says about California, is a lie. |
>people who have homes in the 2-50 million dollar price range
i wonder if there is a correlation between political contributions from that zip code and elected officials who are the receipts of said contributions and how they vote on things like bailouts, tax cuts..etc..etc |

Luckily nobody is talkin politics here hey?
Maybe A.I wil paint us a pretty picture of the fires AND an after shot of the devastation. Hopefully homing in on the many < 2 - 50million dollar houses depicting small children fleeing the conflagration, aflame and holding ash covered teddy bears. The seven fingers will ensure a tighter grip. Having zero moral compass I'm sure it will be tasteful with an over abundance of fingers. |
