Except nobody really does. People buy basic shit to get started then farm their own shit. Prices of Krono from DBG + what they sell for in pp is absurdly low. $17.99 for 1 krono that sells for 5kpp is a jooooooooooke. Any lvl 60 can farm 5kpp in like 2 hrs assuming they don't get lucky with a drop they can sell while they're doing something else they were going to do anyway. I've been playing for 2 months and I currently have 4 kronos and 11kpp (enough to buy 2 more) and I barely even try to farm them. They fall in your lap. If you really think people are out there in droves spending $17.99 for 5kpp on Phinny to buy shitty droppable weapons you're just as retarded as Swish. I bet more than 90% of the kronos that currently exist on Phinny came originally from other servers back when they were worth something.

Newsflash: Everquest has always been a pay to play commercial game. It's also had RAMPANT RMT since its inception. Project 1999 is technically an illegal server that DBG allows to exist. Should they decide to they could shut it down instantly. Arguing that P99 is some free game and Phinny sucks cause u have to pay for it is like saying "Man why would anybody buy a movie ticket when they can just torrent some shitty screener from a guy that recorded the movie theater screen with his phone"
