What do I have to be mad about? I don't even play, was never in bda, and am trolling the forums while at work. The only slightly upsetting thing is you guys consider whining drama and me having to waste time reading through it, fuck.

Moran. Step up your game Malcolm!

No, I was making a ridiculous argument to point out the fact that depending on how you spin it, you can call anyone a thief. Who did Slydexx steal the eye from? BDA? Ok then, what is BDA? Is it the current members? What if everyone but 1 person left BDA, would that one person now be the sole owner of the entire guild bank? Say you held an item for such a long time that every person who was actually on the raid had left for other guilds, does the ownership of those items now transfer to people who may not have even been members when the items were obtained?

You guys ascribed ambiguous ownership criteria to items and are now trying to call someone a thief for questing an item that he had just as much a right to as any other single member present on that raid. I'd personally consider that pretty ignorant.

You have zero understanding of a "guildbank". Every player on that raid does have a right to the item, sadly 1 person took that right away from everyone else, that's called being greedy. I agree with you, your opinion is ignorant.

I've been rich on P99 for over three years. It was never about the cloak.

You looking for a date, cutie? I can be very generous and I'll even try to be gentle.

I concur with your perspective here, although loot distribution in BDA was highly suspect, just as it always is with loot councils. I think the real explosion here is the fuck you attitude from Visceral after the obvious support BDA showed FE int he fight against TMO. This doesn't speak well for FE's ability to play nice with other guilds, but I doubt anyone with a clue ever expected anything but words.

It's good entertainment, though!

While in bda, slydexx got :

Epic
Bcg
Insignia protector
Sky ring from bee queen

..and that's only from the top of my head. But yeah, he definitely deserved a necro epic item.. Over necros that have been in that guild way longer than him (ho hi Ossomorte). Won't even point the fact that it wasn't even awarded, but borrowed. Won't even point the fact that he was the best geared wiz in bda beside Sanluen.. Who doesnt have an insignia protector or a sky ring.

No, I have a very sound understanding of how a guild bank works, I just think issues like this are exactly why the concept of a "guild bank" doesn't really work at all. When you don't ascribe ownership to items and instead give ownership to a conceptual entity such as a guild you run into issues like this. Look at what happened to other guild banks when guilds have quit the server. How many IB members do you think got their fair share of the IB guild bank? I'm not defending what Slydexx did, but I do think it is ridiculous how some of you are shitting on him for taking an item that he and many current FE members likely partook in attaining, especially considering you have two more of them sitting in bank and haven't even attempted to kill CT in months.

All I'm saying is this isn't a black and white theft if you think about the ambiguous nature of guilds as a whole owning items.
