Spot on.

Unless names are highly explicit, reporting them simply makes you selfish and full of envy and schadenfreude. I assure you that having someone else's name changed will be more damaging to that person's immersion than to yours for seeing it. Nothing to be proud of, really.

^Well put.

Anything Travolta related is fine imo. "Stayin Alive" ftw.

EDIT: And, anything Bee Gees related is fine too. ;)

eh, it's just two words put together. However if the player could justify the name based on their character, perhaps in a roleplay aspect. I wouldn't mind in the slightest. Otherwise it just seems like uncreative laziness smushing two words together. Let's be real most of these people aren't roleplaying.

It's a fine line between a name being descriptive of the race/class and someone being lazy. So sure, Rumgut could be acceptable.

I get not everyone has to have the most fantasy world name. People in real life have nicknames too.
So I may mistakenly lump a name into the bunch, thanks for calling me out on that one Maskedmelon.

Baler,

What are your thoughts on the surname Wu'Tang for a human monk from the streets of Qeynos? Just wondering what a purest like yourself thinks
