I thought forums replaced IRC? I only used IRC to msg bots and download music and movies like 10 years ago.
You can post something once in a forum, stickie it, and everyone can see it. Forums win this round.

As long as Nilbog says he's working on it, that's good enough for me, as long as they have some reasonable fraction complete, i.e. 20-30%, not 2-3%.
