Samsung Galaxy S3 Tethering

My problem still persists with the "open proxy" on my connection, which does not allow me to play on P99. I believe my problem may have something to do with Metro PCS's network but it also may be the phone itself (acting as the "open proxy").

Is anyone here utilizing network tethering through a Galaxy S3? If the answer is yes then it is definitely the Metro PCS network and not the phone.

Have you tried using PDANET and usb tethering yet?
