whether or not it was intentional, red no longer has an xp bonus for 1-50

let us further classify our classic server to be more classic.

- no moar xp loss on pvp death, not classic

- no more xp bonus, not needed with no xp loss on pvp death also not classic

- no more custom level ranges for pvp, revert to classic 4 level pvp range

- tweak resists to be more in line with classic
(however i am in favor of balance when it comes to resists but if classic is what p99 is about then god damnit lets get classic)

if displaying the classic name plate warrents a change then by god the above should too.

disagree on all points unless implemented sz style:

sz had xp loss on death

sz had xp bonus

sz had no level range for pvp (lvl 60 griefin lvl 6's )

sz had better resist rates i agree with u there

dude im with you 200% except the most important god damn thing that made sz the greatest server ever made... HARD CODED TEAMS

if we are going to go classic RZ style give me god damn item loot to. fuck it man ill beast some classic rz right here right now and take every fucking drop of gear Nihilum has to offer.

Yeah this server has nothing to do with SZ except exp loss. It is much closer to RZ and only differs intentionally by the timeline where item loot was taken out, exp loss and pvp level range. I believe the pvp level range may have something to do with low population which I can handle. The item loot is because of the bluebies and exp loss gets me. I have no clue why that is in.

I edited to say it sounds like a lot of changes from RZ but the feel of the server is somewhat the same. The idea of everyone being out for themselves and only trusting people in your guild makes it feel like RZ to me. With item loot it would take it a step further and probably change "bluebie" guilds into anti pk and propvp guilds into PKers. The other changes are just slight annoyances to the game play.

Players who are trying to level, saving up for 80 magic resist and STILL getting rooted while kiting isn't a minor issue :P. It is a blinking neon "not-classic" sign and the grief of such turns new players away more than XPing at a classic rate would.

I will support if everyone's xp bonus from server beginning is reversed.


Then we could watch all the level 60s knocked down to level 42.

^You're requesting players with 0 integrity have some, let it go.

As far as 4 levels and all that... meetings of people who CREATED all this stuff decided it was the right way to work. Scores of die hard classic pvp players stood behind and enjoyed the system.

Who is anyone to try and say they know better than them now? Especially as we see population rise as more thing are made classic? People are here for nostalgia. Not some visionary spin on an old classic that continues to provide a better MMO experience, with a truer persistant world than anything made in the last 13 years.
