Roleplaying guild?

Me and my cousin, Hickup, are trying to find ourselves an active roleplaying guild. we've heard about it in the community but I haven't been able to find anyone specifically, i'm posting here in an attempt to make contact and hopefully join. I'm currently in the game as Tranqyl, so please respond here or online. Ty. ^.^

Well, there's <Roleplaying Guild>, but they're not actually a roleplaying guild. I haven't heard of any actual RP guilds here. But hey, maybe they do exist.

Well apparently the only guild that was even close to this type of gameplay was called "The Role Playing Guild" But ive just met someone ingame and they say its dead.

Well, any fellow rpers out there looking to start a guild? We don't have to be hardcore roleplaying, and anyone couldjoin, but im definately looking for players that roleplay.

Role Playing Guild wasn't actually a roleplaying guild, it was just a group of friends who thought the name was funny. Guild is pretty much dead at this point though since a lot of the people who were supposed to play quit at level 20-30, and a couple of the people who got 50+ left to join other guilds.

So im curious to know if there is a strong enough following to actually form a true roleplaying guild. Im currently working on an extended bio that i plan to thread to the forums in an attempt to encite fellow players to do the same. Embrace your inner dork!

I would also like a role playing guild.
After all, it was part of the fun, and I am not really into raiding and stuff. Roleplaying would surely be fun for people like me who want to take a slower pace.

Well i'm still currently working on finishing my character bio, and i'll post a thread in general chat to entice fellow players to do the same, just to get a feel for whose interested in this sort of jazz.

If I get enough players with a healthy interest i'll see about kicking up a guild for us all, even leave the name creation up to the group of us ^.^

I must say, I have played many games since EQ1 went down hill after Velious, and none have come close to the nostalgic feeling I have received from EQ1. I have played EQ1 past Velious, EQMac, RuneScape, Conquer Online and EQ2 and all of them pale in comparison to EQ1 in it's prime and now Project 1999 as-well. I have played Project 1999 on and off for a year but now I am really starting to get serious. However, out of all the games I have played after EQ died, EQ2 was the next best, and the reason for that is due to the fact that there is a small, but close knit and thriving roleplay community on The Antonia Bayle Server. The one thing I truly miss about EQ2 is the Roleplay, and although Project 1999 is still the best in my opinion, I think a small, and devoted RP community would only make my P99 experience even better

BDA currently offers Role Playing Events monthly where prizes are handed out to the winners. However, we are constantly searching for bigger foes to kill and are considered a raiding guild.
