We are the <Knights Who Say Ni>! (knightswhosayni.corplaunch.com)

We've been around for a while now, and we continue to look for members who look to make the server a better place. If you enjoy a guild where you can chat, find a group, get advice on gearing up, and generally feel free to ask any question, you should check us out. We've been focused on new and returning players since our founding and have helped a good number of players relearn the game.


Who Are the Knights? Do They Raid?
We are a social casual guild focusing on new and returning players looking to make the adjustment to a new server. We want to help you find groups, friends, advice, and answers to your current and future questions. Overall we want our membership to reflect positively on the guild as a whole.

Don't let this fool you, while we were not founded as a raid guild, if you think you have what it takes to become an officer and lead raids, let us know! We actively promote new members seeking a role in the guild, and with our membership and your patience, surely you have the potential to lead quite a force.


Raiding Outlook
We are not strictly a raid guild, but lately we have been organizing and taking on bigger and bigger targets. We're learning together as we go and that can be quite fun! If you want a hardcore commitment to raiding, we aren't really here for that. We are happy raiding two, maybe three times a week casually just to challenge ourselves and have a bit of fun.


What do the Knights look for in their membership?
We like lots of things, if you're .. patient, helpful, chatty, learning, new, lost, experienced, looking for friends .. or any of the other many descriptions of people that make the server a better place to play. p99 is a community, not just a game, and we hope that our presence here makes that game a lot more enjoyable for a lot of players.


I think I might like to join, what do I do?
Well, you can check us out at our website which is KnightsWhoSayNi.corplaunch.com (http://www.knightswhosayni.corplaunch.com) -- we have a super brief application for site access that isn't required, but is suggested. While this will sometimes lead an officer to seek you out, you will likely need to find an officer in game by talking to guildies, there is a list below. We also have some forums setup and a news page that gives you an idea of things we've done in the past. We aren't overly formal on the application process, and most times sending a tell is sufficient. Sometimes the officer will ask you a few questions to get an idea of who you are and what your history is, buts its only curiosity, not an interrogation so you should feel free to chat with us :)

Talking to someone in-guild is generally fine.

The process is typically a sort of mini-interview and the invite officer may or may not request a sponsor from within the guild, its best to have one but if you are new to the server its understandable you won't know anyone in the guild. Anyways, I'm Stembolt and thanks for giving my post a glance.

We've been having some mid-level raids lately and continue to have fun events for our lowbies. We are also getting close to being able to do some higher level raids and have been tagging along on some Planar PU raids!

We're still keeping it casual, nothing is required of course. But we've been staying pretty busy :)

I quit live in 2004 and there were only a few of us left. I have been searching for Canton and others to see if they are playing P1999. If there are more TO peeps playing on here, we could re-create the guild.

I moved to EQ2 then to SWG from there. They where a great guild to be a part of.
My guild Celestial Ruin lasted forever. But then as some guild do, we got small and decided to be absorbed by TO. I knew one of the leaders (cant remember his char name atm) in real life he worked with my X.

Not sure who the officers were after I quit. When I was still playing, there were only a few of us on at any time. Our usually group was Canton the cleric, a beastlord whose name I can't remember, and myself. We would do LDON instances, the trials in one of the PoP zones, and Hate.

Rainik was the GL but he stopped playing due to real life issues. The only other name I can remember is Dothar, the pally but he didn't play much during that time.

I have a lvl 30 Paladin main and lvl 20 Wizard alt....... Go Go least played classes on server!!!!!
I would very much like to join your ranks. I have been playing off and on for well over a year now and recently got back into the nostalgia that is Project 1999. I plan on continuing to play my paladin and wizard and would like to start making some friends on the server.
Some people might consider my Paladin a twink based off some of his gear, but i don't have any toons over lvl 30 and never have. I've just been good at following guides and lvl'ing up in the right places to make some plat. It gets pretty lonely though.

I've ran into a few of your members in HHK and a few other places and thought they were very nice and friendly. If you are interested please let me know, I would love to start grouping more often.

im not sure what the euro guild scene is like, but you guys would be more than welcome to join up. im sure we could work something out to facilitate events/whatnot for euro times. also there are a bunch of people in guild now who play during peak euro hours, maybe 10 - 20 on average. you guys could totally get something going.

i think it would be cool to have a twilight squad! it might even be a good idea to get the great and powerful, ever-wise, eternally helpful GuildMaster to hook you guys across the pond up with some officership to help newbies out with an invite. i have met a bunch of people in my past few weeks of insomnia who have been interested to join; but alas, no druid officer!

we might have to have two guild meetings then, but i dont really see that as a bad thing.

Knights it a rather large, casual guild with players at most levels and lots of helpful people. Look around a bit and I think you'll see us somewhere. Group with some members, see the friendly faces then give one of the officers above a shout or ask any member to check to see if an officer is available. We like to think that most people will enjoy our laid-back, no nonsense atmosphere. Maybe you will too!

Just wanted to say hello. I've been buffed on two different toons in both of the popular newb areas by Ni Knights so that made me think you guys must be a decent bunch.
LOL, right now my highest is a 10 chanter so still way newb.
I was on Skype when someone buffed me in nektolus to which I responded Ni but said it outloud and that person told me I should try to get into that guild purely on the basis that I wouldn't need to explain what a 'sir robin' is or how to properly use it in a sentence.

Been having a blast with the Knights since I joined up. Every week there are 2 or 3 nights where we do something awesome. If you don't have time for a hardcore raiding guild or pretentious gamers then Knights is the place to be.

Is the time range pretty open with NWSN? A friend and I are old school EQ players from when the game out. We both ended up with post 60+ characters in Live. We have been sucked into the game with P99 because we love the old world old rules EQ. I am on the east coast US and he is Central(-5/-6UTC).
Would love to talk with and help and receive help with others playing the game. Been reading some posts here and your Guild sounds right up our alley. I think the highest we have in our characters at this moment is around 11.
Both of our characters are mostly around the Qeynos area for the moment but I have a Druid in Faydwer also.

Greetings noble knights! Long time EQ player here desiring to return to the true everquest. A time before the gear made the player, a time when skill in play and friends made the difference. I would like to talk to someone in game, and shall seek a shrubbery to appease the noble knights, but if one was to study a way of life, what would your ranks be most lacking in? Currently I have begun life as a druid, but would be willing to change. In the days of old I had played an enchanter and a shaman and know those classes well.

Whoops! Time flies! I've been a little extra busy the last few weeks. When I have free time I've been wrapped up playing other games with my sister and brother in law.
