Firstly... THANK YOU for creating this project, haven't played in years and have only been tinkering with this for the last 48 hours or so.
Now my issue, the subject pretty much explains it, I can enter any other server, but when I enter the Project 1999 servers (Ruins of Kunark and Red) I just get the "Your spell file if outdated ... ERRORCODE SP-1". If anyone has thoughts I would greatly appreciate it!

for some retarded reason the files to download were taken off the getting started guide, download the eqchanges file from this thread and extract into your everquest directory

Unfortunately that doesn't resolve this issue, I thought that the most current eqchanges was required for any server access not just P99s and have updated my files with V25...
This is why I thought it was a bit strange, I'm able to run any other server (logged into PEQ right now), but JUST not P99s.
Please help, P99's servers were the entire reason I want to play again...

Yesterday I had the same problem so I redownloaded the eqchanges and then went through my EQ folder and delted the same files there and emptied my recycle bin then reinstalled the eqchanges again and everything worked fine

Although I had done what Heavydrop recomended on more than one occasion, I desided that perhaps I had just touched to many things. After a complete reinstall, I reapplied the patch and everything seems ok. Still unsure what I had touched, but hey I'm playing in the game I loved 13 years ago!
BTW - This was done using WINE in Linux
