Hello All! Kunark has landed and BDA is there.

Bregan D'Aerth (BDA) has been around for some time now. Many of our members have been around since the opening of the server going and coming as our various EQ addictions take us.

BDA is a family-raiding-style guild with an emphasis on seeing everything EQ has to offer. To that end, our goal is to become a top raiding guild on the server with a strong reputation of good players having a good time. Players with poor attitudes and/or with behavior problems need not apply.

Our playtime is usually around 5pm to 2am EST. We are mostly a bunch of hardcore players who got a life after leaving EQ the first time. Family, school and/or work prevents us from playing as much as we used to but when we get to play, we like to play hard, have fun and leave the drama for our time in the Real World.

Currently we are accepting applications for the following classes, (Note: Applications from exceptional players or key playtime characters can be accepted, even for closed classes)

Enchanters - low
Druids - high
Shamans - medium
paladins - medium
Shadowknights - medium
warriors - low
Mages- medium
wizards - medium
CLERICS - high
necromancers - high
Bards - medium
Monks - low
Rogues - high
Rangers - medium

We have a strong core of players, so all apps are subject to a 2 week trial period, Just for a chance to get to know you before we let ya in. Any level may apply, only level 35+ will be promoted to full members. Contact Mirad, Sanluen, Catterine, Zadrian or Nachtigall in game for more information.

Sorry to say that i am unable to join, as i am a current member of Lost Souls.

However, a word for those that want to join: I have grouped with various members of this guild and love their way of things. They are very friendly, chill, and all around pretty awesome people. They have all been polite and helpful to me as a new player to the EQ experiance.

Bottom line, good guild!

Aye we are currently building so our recruitment process is a pretty lax. This unfortunately allows for bad apples to get in. However, we take our reputation VERY seriously and if anyone has a complaint about a member of Bregan D'Aerth, please contact myself (Calegrin/Fahn/Mirad) or Sanluen. And we will handle the situation.

I'm going to go ahead and bump this to the top - I am a semi casual player and have really enjoyed the guild so far. There are a lot of guys that are on regularly and it's a good group. Lot of people that know what they are doing without the people that have beef with everyone that are usually in competent guilds.

I remember hearing of a couple of bad apples before my time in the guild but that hasn't been the case since I have been around. The guild leaders really care about the reputation and will take care of it if there are guildies that don't deserve to be in the guild.

So if you are considering a new guild or joining your first do a /who all bregan and give one of us a /tell! We have people of all levels, so if you are looking for a guild with people in your range no matter your level we got it covered.

Haha! Yes, our group is usually online 5-6 nights a week from 10:00 PM-12:00 AM. I can't last much longer than that because I get up at 5:00 AM during the week.

In Tarek's defense, he's only fallen asleep once in the last 2 weeks.

Our original Guild Leader from EQC was from CT and he brought most of the styling of that guild over. However he has since left for other games and the current leadership of BDA has no direct affiliation with the CT guild.

Also, I have updated our recruitment somewhat. We are now actively seeking druids.

Should be dark elf on. Way to shit up a band of Dark elf mercenaries with your shamans and druids and monks for fuck sake. Makes me sick.

They were not Dark Elf only, they employed many races. Hell, the #1 enforcer was a dwarf warrior. Honestly, BDA did whatever they could to expand their influence, so if they had the possibility of incorporating/subjugating other races/classes into their band, why wouldn't they?

Just an Update:

We have gone to Isle 4 in PoSky and fought Dojorn a few times. BDA is surely progressing forward. While we do not have the massive numbers of some guilds, we achieve what we can with skill and determination.

We have also had a recent policy update. We are now only accepting people levels 35+.

We feel this is a good level for people that are just beginning to really think about guilds.

That being said, feel free to check us out!

I've been with BDA since August. They tolerate my casual play style (only level 37 atm) and have been helpful when needed.

If you are looking for immature players and/or people that take their digital pixels srsly, look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a guild of good people that know their stuff but still know how to have fun and relax then look no further than BDA.

I just wanted to say I've been a member of the guild for about 5 weeks now and they're all a great bunch of people that play to have fun and help each other out. For those that like to raid, we do that as well. I'm noticed they'll will even go out of their way to give you a port if you can't find one, buff you, etc... No drama here just plain old fun! Have you ever met someone from BDA that trained your group or stole your camp? I don't think so... Get your application in if this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of!

BD is an awesome guild. i was in that guild for about 6 months and when their focus went to more raiding than I wanted to do. I left.. it had nothign to do with them. i just did not want to be a dead weight to them.

BDA has been around quite a long time. There was a small contingent of them on my home server in the golden days. Even though I was in a hardcore raiding guild at the time, I ran with them on occasion and they gave me my no-stress fix. Always marvelous people. It's good to see that they made it over to 1999.

I joined BDA about a month and a half or so ago, and I absolutely love it here! Everyone is wonderful, the raids are fantastic and it's a super relaxed atmosphere.

Always guild groups going on, whether 50's-60's to mid 30's and everywhere in between.

That makes little to no sense to me. We have quite a few gay members in our guild which we love all the same. I don't know who you think singled you out, but if that is true then you should have taken it up with the leadership. We treat everyone with the same courtesy regardless of sexual orientation.
