Does anyone remember when Greenmist was released and when it became questable by all races? Was it at the same time? I am thinking it was released with Velious, but I do not remember for sure.

It "SHOULD" have been released with Kunark however broken quests and unfinished quests are classic so...

Pretty sure it became usable by all SK races right before Luclin released.

As pointed out in another thread, it was put in and even completed BEFORE Luclin went live but was set to Iksar only and as far as I am aware there has been no proof that it was changed to all races until after Luclin was released.

I looked into it and it seems that the quests were all changed to all races around March or April of 2002.

People start complaining around March. Person posts March 9 saying
"*looks at his Hero's Khukri* HEY! Since when can noniksar use these! Sacrilge!"

You see the same thing with the iksar warrior pike. In the RoK offical prima guide, you see the Warlord Mancatcher referenced in the smithing section. But only up to the Legionnaire's Mancatcher was released at the time of Kunark the Warlard Mancatcher wasn't added till GoD/OOW.

One of my beef's with the P99. I think you can still keep the spirit of classic, without strictly sticking to a patchnotes timeline. The complete mancatcher line was _meant_ to be released in it's complete form, but due to time constraints wasn't. Same thing with Greenmist.

Ya the warriors kinda got screwed because their quest was effectively broken until much later expansion when they finally put in Pride of the Legion...

Most of the others were put in during Luclin except the Greenmist was put in during Velious era and was completed by players perhaps a month before Luclin went live.

Allakhazam first mentions it going live November 15th, 2001 saying "Here's a very nice quest update for you Iksar Shadowknights, plus a few other things as well."

Greenmist was indeed in before Luclin. It ,however never became available to other races until after Luclin. Those of you who wanted the greenmist better roll iksar =)

TBH the Warlord one isn't even that great. It's the pride of the legion which would be unbalancing. And let me say I want to do quests too!

Yea, I dont think Pride would ever have a chance of being put in here with that ridiculous proc, but the stats itself aren't much different from the warrior epic. Right now though... what is the 5th one... like a 14 40 with 10MR lol. COME ON!

Is the Greenmist any good once Velious hits or does it get outclassed anyway? The only reason I saw to get it as a non-iksar was for the Emp fight.
