I'll be watching every Germany, Netherlands, USA game. The match on Saturday (USvEngland) will be epic. I'm so saddened by the hits the German team has taken these past few months, but I'll be rooting for them nonetheless.

Since Sweden isn't participating I will follow England and Denmark. I think Argentina will win though.

Spain is pretty amazing too. i watched them score 4 goals on Poland yesterday like it was nothing.

Holland! As long as our defense holds out, we could just win this thing. My expectation is that France is going to get far, regardless of their crappy coach and bad run-up to the WC. If you look at their players you can't help but think 'damn'.

I wish Toulalan was Dutch :<

I just hope Italy doesn't win. Not because I dislike the Italians, but because they play so incredibly boring, albeit effective, football.

I went to a friend to watch it while wearing a FRANCE t-shirt. Pretty much everyone who saw it commented on it in a negative way. That's what makes it even more fun to root for them ;)

.. conclusion is that it was one hell of a boring match tho. Let's see how my favorite outsider Greece is going to do. Katsouranis! <3

Absolute disaster... not sure why these refs are so miserable. If you arent 100% sure theres a foul, keep the damn whistle in your pocket. Since there was no foul, wtf did he think he saw?!

It doesn't surprise me, nor should it surprise any Italian supporter, really. Italy hasn't played a single impressive game since the last world cup. It's a shame, but the whole league has embraced foreign stars instead of building up their own young players and now they're stuck with a bunch of old farts and an older coach who can't get things done :P
