I have a 35 monk with all Wu's Fungi tunic that weighs 3 stone. Peacebringer that weighs 10 stones and food/20 throwing weapons for 1 stone. That equals 14 stones. I can't carry anything. I wanted a tinkers bag but it weighs 2 stones. I'm at 14 stones with Nothing in me but my monk only gear basically. Is there anything better I could do?

Tink bag weighs 1 stone. you put the food/drink and weapons in that and you will be at 14 but with using a peacebringer the drawback to the power of it is the weight. Its a give/take situation.

the ac you lose if you stay under 20 weight is minimal

Until you hit about lvl 50, don't worry about your weight at all, imo. Sure, trash gold/copper/silver, and don't pick up rusty/finesteel weapons, but a few stones barely effects your AC.

Get a soiled bag from solb (costs about 1k), 100%WR, small size only tho. Great for food/water/bandages/shrukins/etc.

Make sure to keep stuff like gems out of your tink bag(s) so that heavy stuff sees the benefit of the WR.

good luck

If you want to make money while soloing you really have no choice but to stay close to a bank, hhk is a great place for a monk where your weight issues really doesnt slow you down at all. Also be aware that if you have a vendor close that sells gems, like windchaser in SK you can buy them and sell them later with minimal loss

like Thulack said, Tink bags are only 1 stone, but AC is broken on EMU so I wouldn't worry too much :)

Wait lemme get this straight, you have a fungi, a Peacebringer and enough money to get tink bags, while in your 30s, and you're worried about AC penalty?

Peacebringer sucks, buy an IFS. Same price, 1/4th the weight and if you're lucky with ripostes it can boost dps a bit. I don't know why any monk would ever use a weapon thats over 3-4 stones.

PS, AC is deffinetly not broken. On my monk I sit at about 18-19 stones at lvl 59, which is under the penalty for that level. I usually sit around 1025-1095 AC depending on gear/buffs at the time, but once I go like 10-20 stones over the limit and my AC drops below 950 (about a 75-100 AC drop from normal) I notice a HUGE difference in damage mitigation, and ALOT more hits for full damage. It also seems that with 1050~ AC compared to 950~ AC, mobs miss me ALOT more. Whoever says AC is broken should check their logs for 50 fights with a difference of about 100~ AC in half/half and report the results...I guarentee you'll take alot more damage with less AC.

You could also get for more storage on top of a tink bag a shralok pack. They are only 25% wt reduction, but they only weigh 0.4 which is nice.

Also -- Before lvl 50 AC still makes a huge difference. Exactly how much AC you lost going from 15 stones to 20 I'm not sure at lower levels but I can tell you going 5-10 stones over at 59 gimps your AC by alot (somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-50 AC?) I could be exaggerating but I swear Im always destroying my coin on my monk because even going over 3-4 stones makes a noticeable difference, imo.

So one person says IFS is better then Peacebringer and another says no. Would love to lose the weight if IFS is better.

Actually If you went through my history of posts I've been buying and selling chars to pay for this. Just never played a monk past 17 on live so trying it out.

Monk with RBB (31% haste)

Does not take into account the higher damage ripostes from the IFS.
