Network ports for Project 1999

Hi guys,

So my roommate has taken to streaming Netflix movies lately which is really ticking me off because it obliterates anything else on our shared internet connection; games, HTTP traffic or otherwise, everything become completely unusable.

So I've purchased an ASUS WL-520gu router which I've flashed with Tomato firmware and I'm trying to prioritize traffic with QoS. Everything's gone smoothly so far except for one thing:

I can't seem to find out what ports Project 1999 uses! I searched the forums but no luck. I'm guessing it's the same as the EQ Live servers which would make it thus:

Chat server - 9875
World server - 9000
Zone server - 1350 to 1430

Are these the ports used for Project 1999? I need to be sure in order to know if my QoS setup is doing it's job.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

We only have 4G internet were I live which can be very laggy at times. I want to setup QoS to give EQ bandwidth top priority to see if that helps with my high pings. Is this information still up to date? I realize this post is several years old but I did several searches and couldn't find anything more up to date.

How do i set these up on my router. all my ip addresses in port forwarding start in 192.168.0.___
Im not aable to zoneinto kunark and im thinking htis is why.
Anyone got a step by step.

Local IP: The internal (192.168.*.*) IP of your computer
Local Start Port: Same as External Start Port
Local End port: Same as External End Port
External Start Port: 7000
External End Port: 9000
Protocol: Both is safest, but EQ uses UDP for most stuff if you're concerned

If you don't want to open up 7151-8999 (which aren't needed), you can make two separate rules, one for ports 7000-7150 and one for port 9000

need port forwarding to local ip address on router, comcast thing, thx comcastbros, now spectrum, someone please add this to a FAQ???

This little piece of software usually fixes the blank server list issue for me, that happens sometimes on some wifi connections and whatnot.
