Future for Rogues

I never played a Rogue on live or payed much attention to any gear or weapons they got, so what kind of goodies or abilities do I get to look forward to with Velious? My alt-itus is pretty strong but I have been sticking with my Rogue for a while now and should make it to Velious lol.

Roll a monk like everyone else imo. A little less dps than a rogue but you can:

1. Tank a lot of content
2. Pull
3. Duo effectively with shamans
4. You're a xXxninja masturxXx

My Rogue is already 54 and I hate pulling. That was the whole reason I went Rogue instead of a Monk. I'm just curious to see what kind of weapons or gear that I will be seeing in Velious. Any awesome Rogue only weapons coming my way? Anything better then the epic so I can use the Ragebringer as an awesome range item?

I do not recall any rogue weapon being better then the epic till Planes of Power came out. For a rogue look at the Eye patch of Plunder and drool.

Someone posted on this a few days ago. Rogues top end weapon damage does not go up but the delay comes down. So your top double back stabs will remain the same but you will hit faster. Check out the rogue specific velious quest armor set on alla if you are interested. Think the weapons that were posted were 16/19 for monk, 15/19 for rogue, and 14/19 for wars.

When you post item stats, you should probably mention the stats that we'll actually see on P99. For example, the Salindrite Dagger was originally 11/18 all throughout Velious. It's also a shit ton of aggro.

the mods were added in luclin. 15 damage no mod is highest in kunark and velious, but ratios / procs get better with vulak / itemized tunare.

In addition to what pal Reiker said, Vulak Dagger (Mrylo dagger) gets nerfed to 12/16 pretty quickly until way later on.
