Not a classic/kunark function. We don't have compasses or maps for the same reason, mouse scroll 3rd person function should be broken to align the server with a more classic feel.

Probably a client side thing not going to be changed. A lot of UI related stuff can't be changed because of the client we use.

eqmac lacks the function and I was told it was because it was not in the 03 code. afaik they use the same client so I think it should be possible to make this change.

I think the mouse scroll-zoom out thing was patched in about 2003 (Luclin). I remember having to spam F9 key (to look at my surroundings) before it came into being.

yea but once you were in the right view you could scroll it in and out either way

Unless the right view is first person, the default view then what is currently available isnt classic

probably the least important of all the non classic things to change. Camera angles? Seriously?

If you guys are arguing this why not also suggest they should disallow the use of luclin models, custom ui's, and the current version of the options window. The list could go on.

The camera with this new interface isn't even the same camera they had back in Classic-Luclin.

Using the F9 views with the old camera it used to swivel lock. (You would pan around in 3rd person view then when you let go of the right mouse button it would snap back behind.)

Pretty small chance of this happening with the camera on the client, nice troll though.

also it seems like when im in first person i cant see my weapons attack. i remember in classic playing almost exclusively in 1st person always seeing my rusty scimitar doin work.
