Anyone parsed this weapon? At 105 dex the proc should add 10.5 dps, 21 at 205 dex, and 26ish at 255 dex.

Anyone know how much a jade mace or something similar puts out at at various levels? What about the raw melee dps of a 4/28?

Basically, how does this thing compare to other pre epic ranger options?

I'd put this in class forums, but they get barely any activity.

I would talk to some of the rangers that have the VP ranger dagger sword whatever it is, but its the ice version-

duel weilding those bad boys should be awesome

I don't have them on p99, but on live they kinda sucked to dual wield ..... nothing for a while (hence very little damage) then 4 procs together and you needed to chain jolt.

The question is, is the threat:damage on the procs gonna be 1:1 to melee attacks? Unlikely, obviously, because threat on melee is determined by damage / delay regardless of hitting or missing but it does make you wonder. If these procs are <1:1, then with heavy procing weapons like these you've essentially increased your threat ceiling, which y'know, may actually matter when mobs start going 300k+ hp.

In my experience spell threat is ridiculously high on 1999 compared to melee threat. Its why warriors here are completely dependent on proccing weapons. However I need to run some tests to really quantify that.

I wouldn't give you 10 plat for it. When you have to depend on it procing 2 times, maybe 3 in a fight forget it. How much damage you going to do if it doesn't proc?

In most groups sustaining damage over time is going to matter more than if you have a few streaky fights without procs. That does raise another issue of proc overkill. If you proc when something has 100 hp left that's a wasted 525 damage. Since procs are normalized on a minute by minute basis that would affect true damage over time.
