"Transfer of Power" by Vince Flynn
It's the first book where the assassin Mitch Rapp comes into the picture - followed by several other's in the series.
Great reads all of them!

You into Sci-fi? Snowcrash by Neal Stephenson is good, but Cryptonomicon is probably his best book. Also Neuromancer is pretty dank.
If sci-fi isn't your thing, then a Sherlock Holmes compilation has always been something I absolutely adore. Or if you are into strange history crap then An Underground Education by Richard Zacks.

Crystal express by bruce sterling is very good, i enjoyed the short stories in the shaper/mechanist universe a whole lot, for some reason had a hard time getting into schismatrix, a longer prelude to the short stories.
You can buy Schismatrix plus and it includes the short stories from Crystal express as well
If you enjoyed Neuromancer you can hardly go wrong with this one

I don't know if you're joking but it is actually an interesting read. I'm not religious but I find it curious.
Also ASOIAF is pretty killer, almost done with book 4 myself.

Stay well away from the Games Workshop novels (the black library?). Worst books known to man and an affront to my senses...
However, "The Complete Chronicles of Conan the Barbarian" by Robert E. Howard (http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Complete-Chronicles-Conan-Centenary/dp/0575077662/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1351774694&sr=8-3) is a sound investment ;)
