This patch involves a spells file change. Make sure to get the latest spells file from eqchanges.zip (http://www.project1999.org/files/eqchanges.zip) on the setup guide.


All prefixes, suffixes, and custom last names have been removed.
Code
Haynar: Fix for items created from quests with incorrect charges.
Haynar: Eye of Zomm is now fully functional.
Haynar: Shaman shrink spell has been restricted to indoors.
Haynar: Several fixes for faction wars.
Haynar: When a mob lands a direct damage spell on a FD player, it will now aggro, instead of walking away.
Haynar: Mobs will no longer forget how to cast their spells if they are disengaged.
Haynar: Targeting yourself will no longer cause your displayed hit points to fluctuate.

Nilbog: Fittorn Bladespur will no longer spawn.
Nilbog: The no drop version of Fine Steel Rapier will no longer drop.
Nilbog: Created combine for Peacekeeper Staff
Nilbog: Emil Parsini will now correctly reward you with Treant Resin.
Nilbog: Glacier bear pelt will now drop 100% of the time.
Nilbog: Ran Flamespinner is now on the appropriate faction.
Nilbog: Captain Orben's gnoll scalp quest now requires apprehensive or better.
Nilbog: Vampire bats in lower guk will now drop the correct wings.
Nilbog: ghoul assassin now sees through hide.
Nilbog: evil eyes now see through invis.
Nilbog: Oobnopterbevny Biddilets will no longer spawn.
Nilbog: Gerb Jinklebelly will now sell the correct Bowyer's supplies
Nilbog: Holly Windstalker will now carry 2 bronze short swords.
Nilbog: Increased the drop rate for Globe of Shadow from froglok nokta shaman.
Nilbog: Sonic bats will now proc sonicscream more often.
Nilbog: Fixed combine for Fish Wine.
Nilbog: Fixed combine for Brandy.
Nilbog: Added Cleet Miller Jr's missing dialogue.
Nilbog: Furball and Tiny Miller loot fixed.
Nilbog: Scarecrow loot fixed. As they should "scowls" but not attack, reduced their aggro radius as low as I could.
Nilbog: Cleet Miller will now leave hay bales as he works in his field.
Nilbog: The undead frogs of lower guk will now proc ghoulroot 1% less often.
Nilbog: Added missing emotes and faction rewards for Shakey Scarecrow.
DOACleric: Bards can now purchase the song Lyssa's Cataloging Libertto
DOACleric: The wizard spell Gravity Flux can now be correctly researched
DOACleric: Helm of Hukulk is now wearable by the correct classes
DOACleric: Mooto will now wander correctly
DOACleric: Several static spawns in North Ro have been fixed
Cremora: Certain research items were missing for the past week. They have now returned. Apologies, high level casters.

Just curious, but, Why? I didn't have one myself so I don't really care, just doesn't make much sense to pull them out to me.

There were a few non-classic titles floating around that were obtained through malfunctioning surnames and various things. These have been fixed and its easier to remove all of them at once.

No one that had a title was a title that was available to them in classic so they were removed.

Oh I see. Thanks, for some reason i thought there were like GM event rewards or something like that. Not COMPLETELY classic, but then some servers had classic rewards that others didn't. I totally wanted one for languages!! :)

large rats in Qeynos Hills were dropping epic weapons, they had to shut down again.

I second charm bug. Tested with 2 necros and an enchanter. 49-50s charm lasts 1-2 ticks at most. *Shrug*

Just to make sure, if I was to not update this file, ever, how adversely would this affect my gameplay? What does updating this file do?

I suspect that assuming this attitude is completely beyond the ken of 98% of this server.

The patch lowered the damage on Tainted Breath to 8 every 6 seconds, is that the intended rate or a bug?

Everlasting Breath is BROKE unless u get spell file... 2 deaths because of this. There any way we can know beforehand when i VERY IMPORTANT, spell file change happens.. ???

i just use http://moestaverne.com/module/projects/EQEmuLauncher ... its autoupdating my files if i dont have the newest version .. problems solved!

Um. I am to replace dbstr_us.txt file dated 5/2010 with the file dated 2/4/2010? Is this correct? (This is one of the two files in eqchanges.zip.)

I've just replaced the spells_us.txt. The debstr_us.txt shows 2/4/2010, I've just downloaded the spell file this morning.
