Anyone else having trouble logging in suddenly?

I log in, select p1999 server, and after a short load it kicks me back out into the sign on page. Anyone else suddenly having this problem?

And it just magically fixed itself, weird.

New question then, I want to install a VPN for general internet privacy and protection; this doesn't interfere with any of the P1999 rules does it?

Didn't see anything about it but I could be wrong.
