Just saw this post from months ago by samwise in the spear of the nation recruitment thread:

if I was staying on r99 I would join. The EarthBound avatar is automatic win in my books. I ended up trying blue yesterday and have had non stop groupage. besides a few coin there is no reward for pvp like the old days. good luck though, all of your members ive encountered have been good peoples.

Reminded me what a good for nothing flake you have been the entire existance of this server.

You dont want to "play" on this server, you just want to find a new thing to bitch about week to week and day to day.

I politely decline sir. I hate raiding. Hit me up when you guys are on the offense though.

not sure how i am the bad guy here. i didnt go on a coke binge and clean out the guild leaders bluebie toons. it just shows where Nihilum members loyalty truely lies, with the pixels. not in a million years would i steal from nizzar or anyone from Nihilum, its not my character to rip people off. yes i hate raiding, you know what i hate even more? dealing with loot distribution. remember when bronkus went nuts in ooc about Troriste being a loot whore piece of shit blah blah blah. you got people in Nihilum who are openly racist in ooc. known exploiters, MQ users, ect ect. the biggest trolls on forums are Nihilum. you guys have shit all over this server and now you have to swim in it. i hope all those days /played and pixels was worth it. i just feel bad for the few sane members left in that guild.

I PLed Arzak in Unrest back in the day as his hybrid afk ass soaked up all the exp =( . Never had beef with the guy but it was funny to see all these casual Uprising / Spear players who weren't on much become big time neckbeards the second they joined nihilum. It's like they all got laid off at the same time. If only you guys grew those beards a week or two before, oh well, server is fun, big thangs in the works, keep on playing, etc. etc.

I only wish I SS our convos. i considered you a friend. i listened to you vent about how Wolfram would kite in oasis while the rest of the spears needed xp (sorry Wolfram i know you think hes your buddy but this guy is demented and two face), I remember when Deadlynotes joined Nihilum. You said something along the lines of "I want to kill that dumbass faggot" and continued to vent about what you are going to do if any more VV jump ship to Nihilum. I remember at one point you said that you and others were considering splintering off Nihilum in order to save server, no lie. Do I have proof? nope but i have no reason to lie. Nihilum watch out for this one, Advisor aint got shit on this nut case.

1. I was the very last person (besides wolfram) to leave SotN, so stfu about that guild that you were never a part of. We tried to make it work while you sat on the fence and never joined (remember this conversation in game? flake)

1. i didnt join because i was pking everyone in the shire and highkeep. wouldnt make sense to join an anti pk guild now would it. i just admired the style and the good people of that guild.

We knew at that point that the guild was dead and I didn't feel right encouraging people to stay when we were averaging like 5 people a night. The stuff about me soloing while others needed exp, well, I was confronted about that by him and Nell and it was a legitimate mistake on my part. This isn't really news to me, I knew it was a concern people had. I thought I would command more respect if I outleveled the guild and farmed items for members, but really all they wanted was someone to group with. Thanks for the show of support Wolf, and I do wish SotN made it (Bearvan actually logged in some before Kunark hit, I set him up with some stuff on a new toon, but dunno if he stuck with it, and a couple others have popped up under new toons since Kunark and are still playing)

I made the troll account because I did not want the unpleasantness of this forum (and its very unpleasant) spilling into the game anymore then it already does. But certain trolls on this form (most of all holocaust and their breed) had to be counter-trolled, so I did what had to be done.

Dirty job but someone had to do it type deal.

The upside is, the in game atmosphere is better then its ever been. Despite all the doomsayers (like samwise..) flooding the forums with the contrary.

I am a meele, fighting to keep casters in the game and their CC arsenal of mez/root/snare,etc and their non-unresistable debuff lines (the lesser malos, the future scent of night, cripple, breath of ro,etc.etc.etc its a long list that you are not even aware of because you have not played with all the spells under this system, like your idiot friend Bamzal who thanks cancel magic sucks) viable with the custom resist system like it is now.

Oh i'm also fighting for group xp bonus, even though im already 60 and of course all my future alts will be far more solo cable then my Paladin (not like im rolling a warrior next, durr). And who was it that performed the tests on dispells and provided them (in beta?? loooong time ago) for the devs to use? Showing what you claim is some new revelation on your part? Shall I link the threads and posts? It was up to Null to do what he would with that data, I respect his decision in the name of server health..do you?

You do realize that I'd settle for "live like"? Wearing 145 magic and getting rooted on a first cast isn't "live like". It's a mess. I don't look at it as a help to one class or another, I look at it as people in greater numbers can spam root and then virtually instagib someone.

Pretty stupid. I was told Null's stuff was fine and just keep trying to get more magic resist.. well 120 magic resist later I got chain whirled with a pet on me in Freeport. Don't think I didn't try to "hope things out".

Correcting root/stuns/blind isn't something that is going to take hundreds of hours. It's a major issue that requires a minor fix. People upstairs keep pointing the finger at Null instead of making the change. I'd rather just post the bug reports and wait for them to get around to fixing them so I can play on the server I thought they were going to release.

I was compelled to come here to speak the truth and cut through the bullshit that the past defeated enemies tried to spew. I wanted them called out for the losers and liars they are, so that everyone knew what the true record was.

But now with sweet Kubark so near, its time for me to slip back into the murky waters of Innothule and let a new page turn in our servers history.

Its a fresh start for everyone, the old dumbasses are beaten and gone for good. I give our new enemies the benefit of the doubt and hope they prove worthy of the server.

My points ALL proven and the future looking bright in game, I leave you all now and return to my lurking ways.

Hope we all have fun in Kunark and we all do our best to make the server a place enough of us want to stay.

leave the rest of the staff alone (I'll delete those). And I'll be editing anything that refers to him as a GM or having any sort of capacity to affect the live servers

Have not touched Cabilis except until now in response to a player bug report. Found many NPCs you had on the wrong faction all this time.

Which reminds me of something I noticed awhile back but have not addressed yet, so while we are on the subject here goes:

Iksar monks, you will now come into the world with the correct level of faction with your own guild masters. Fixed, pending update.

In the future, please report suspected bugs in the bug section. Thank you.
