So I killed Drusella last night and before her gruesome death she hit me with ignite blood. I had cleverly left my first slot open, so I went to dispell it . . . and it ignored the dot and took out my clarity. Did it again just to make sure I wasn't missing something and got my enlightment :D

Not sure if this is an intentional change or not.

Ignite Blood uses a Fire resist check.

Not sure on Live if you could dispel Fire/Cold based DoT's, only Magic.

some kind of bug with buff stacking, your ignite blood showed up at top on your bar but was at the bottom.

Youd see this better if you relogged.

Theres a bug with dots occasionally being undispellable. Seen it in pvp numerous times where I've had drifting death etc land, and wasted entire pumices removing all my buffs just for it to stay the full duration.

Able to pumice your entire buff stack but not root?

I had a thread with research in it over at blue if anyone wants to pick up where I left off.
Given other more pressing fixes like invis pulling and some other basic things being exploited like necro heal and charmable townfront guards to trivialize some epic mobs, I left it alone.

I know different people are saying different, contradictory things, but Nizzar is right, there's a bug where often dots/buffs show up in the wrong spot so you have to click off your buffs to dispel them. One thing that can cause it is if you have a buff in the top slot, click it off, and immediately after replace it - the server will think the original buff is still there so according to the server your new buff/dot is in another slot.
