Hey everybody, Iwar 53 warrior here. Last night I did Efreeti with a very nice group - everything went smooth and we rocked the place... until a crappy scarab came along and shot me down the lava pool. LOL! The bug jumped after me down the lava and the excellent cleric managed to get a CH off while I was down there. I could not find a way up but I did find a cave under the lava surface that I swam into and found a safe spot where I could stand away from the lava and where I also managed to kill the bug.

I did a couple of attempts of finding a way out but there seems to not be a way out, meanwhile group died from repop and all went down the drain. I am currently logged in the cave.

Any ideas? - I can definitely see the humour in this, but I am beginning to feel ready to get back out tbh. :-)

Attaching map - the cave is not marked on any map I found so far.

Is dieing - and finding a friendly necro and friendly cleric the only way.

Might be able to get a 57+ DRU/WIZ to try to evac (WIZ prolly be best since they can Eye of Tallon to obtain a target (maybe lol)). Could technically try any DRU/WIZ 29+ for a port out, but would suck if you didn't get the port and they were in NK.

Or GM summon.

That's all I can come up with.

Best bet would be NEC/CLR tho - cuz a WIZ would need an ENC/CLR to get to you anyways due to the mobs in the way etc.

There is a tunnel that drops you out in BnB. You'll come out to bat aggro, at least 1, more than likely 2, if there isn't someone clearing BnB. The tunnel that leads out is really more like 2 tunnels with kind of a cavern in the middle. That might be where you are, although I can't think of a ledge in there where you could stand. I have no idea what cave you're in, but if you head east from the main pool you fell in, you'll find the tunnel. It is hard to see, but it is there.

edit: for reference on your map, the place you pop out in bnb is right around the -600 latitude line, some where between the 0 and 100 longitude line. Not exactly sure coordinate wise where the tunnel is, but like I said, it is on the eastern side of the lava pool you fell in.

Thanks! Considering the pitfall close to where I got pushed down it really seems kinda harshly designed if there wouldn't be a way out. I Must look closer tonight, perhaps I'm already in the cave that leads to BnB. Each time I swam down it, I was low health and were in a hurry to get to surface to stay alive and did not have much time to look if it was possible to swim on further.

Next time, you could also try a mage with CotH, pretty cool to get you off somewhere you don't know ;)

If you can't find a way out I can summon your corpse for you this evening. Just let me know on the boards in this thread or via pm. I can also be contacted in game on the character Niight.

Now that you are (presumably) safely out of there, get yourself a Leatherfoot Raider Skullcap (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Leatherfoot_Raider_Skullcap). No melee class should be without a charged one to escape situations like that.
