I've been asked whose side I am on from a couple of people. Nothing like my presence on the battlefield makes a difference but both sides feel like I should side with my friends. The dilemma for me is both sides are my friends. As a young hobbit, I rolled around with IF who are now NCC. As they made their way into the afterlife, I made new friends, all of which belong to RD. No idea if anyone is still reading at this point but I just wanna say everyone is still my pal and I don't plan on killing my pals in this meaningless civil war.

That being said, my eyes are fixed on the fortified gates of Sebilis where the enemy resides. Nihilum, I will destroy you, in this life or the next.

That can easily exceed thirty minutes of grinding on this server for a melee depending on the group, not including the fact that everyone corpse camps each other here with LNS being non existent it should come as no surprise that people choose only to engage in PVP when victory is near certain.

And to Ames, I lead the only guild on this sever, with Lite, that has ever accomplished anything pve related. You could have been a part of it but you were too concerned about the distribution of the same very pixels you claim to now scorn, hence why many former NCC members are now rocking new planar pixels and you guys are... well I don't even know because I never see you PVP badasses in game.

Casey literally begged me to not PVP him at evil eye back in the day knowing he'd be dirt napped. I've done the, play in a small guild and run around ganking people version of EverQuest. It's limited in lifespan and enjoyment. Ultimately everyone else progresses while you are still wearing those advisor robes begging for seb groups and getting wtfpwned by "zergs" (PVP fail talk for raid guilds). EQ is not a balanced or well designed PVP game for PVP's sake. How could it be when one class, bard, can kill any other in an outdoor zone every time? To limit EQ to CS with elves is dumb and leads to the people espousing said view quitting and crying a lot on the forums. Maybe such a style of play was viable in 2000, but it's not on this server. Just ask your members who left.

B) if you're referencing chuck n pals on loz, the server was boring and dumb so I quit after a week after killing trakanon with like 8 people. I see I wasn't alone as the guild is completely gone and no one plays there.

C) 20 something people isn't a zerg, it's an acceptable number to attempt PVE content, but thanks. Also funny coming from the people who zerged it up on LoZ and have attempted nagafen on red with 30+.

I've definitely been rooted @ MR that high, but it's rare. In 1v1 it's not an issue, but yes, it is an issue in mass PVP where 4 caster spam you with mezzes / blinds / roots, one of them will land, and that's all it takes.
