Crashing as soon as try to open the game

I was just playing less than two days ago. Now, when I click on the game icon to run the eq client, my screen turns black for a second and then the game crashes, giving the following error message:

eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have updated my video drivers and also tried restarting my computer. Also, it's worth noting that I moved my computer to a different house today.

I downloaded WinEQ2 as recommended by the sticky above, and now it seems to be working.
