Spell File

Cannot get p99 to work for the life of me.
keeps saying spell file is outdated and to go to getting started link.
have extracted the files multiple times and still cant get it..
anyone have any ideas?

uninstall everything and run the Duxa installer. Cant mess it up too bad going that way.

I've never used any installer, but if you physically browse to your /Everquest folder and look around...

View the properties of your current spells_us.txt file. If its prior to now(), manually remove it and replace with new version.

If you have UAC turned on, you might encounter issues with Everquest being in /Program Files/

Under the getting started tab, the EQEMU Launcher has the correct spell file in it right?

If you install Titanium, never launch it, then run EQemu, selecting the Project 1999 server, locate the EQ directory, and then hit play ( which updates ) it should work fine. Do it out of order though, and well, you get the problem you encountered.
