Does anyone know how failure rates are computed given a combine's trivial skill and the character's skill? I looked a bit for this info. If you have a good link I would like to see it.
even a general fact would be useful, like do fail rates increase in a linear or logarithmic way as you go to combines farther from your current skill?

Eqtraders has done decent trade info. Just gotta make sure you're not looking at info from new era stuff. Some decent guides too...i think i read something there about skillups and fail rates. Typically I think you want to craft items just above your skill for faster skill ups and less failure chance.
Sorry can't help you more.

yeah more interested in calculating fail rates for items whose trivial skill skill is above the max skill skill. I would like to calculated my break even price in terms of EV.
