Loading serverlist ...

and then nothing. tries this over and over again, I'm obviously connected to the internet as I'm making this post.

Anyone else having the same issue? Seems that the server is back up but the server list refuses to populate, can't get into EQ.

Is there an alternate way of playing other than the EQemu launcher?

Do you get 'retrying in ten seconds' or similar after loading the server list in EQEMU launcher?
If so, then sounds to me like the version is wrong.
EQEMU /launcher needs to be version 1.24 or newer
Double check this page for more details in case something was misssed

In particular on this page this excerpt below talks about the shortcut so you can bypass the launcher. This may be a way around it, however you still want to use the launcher to update your local files to work with P99 server. This can be done manually, and details might also be found on the page I linked. The idea is to then never need the launcher. After that the below is the way to bypass it.

- Creating Shortcut
Now, you will need to create a shortcut to launch EverQuest and bypass the EQLive patcher (if this step is not taken, you will launch the patcher and overwrite the EQHost.txt file that you just modified, making you connect to the global EQLive Login Server). To do this, go into your EverQuest directory. Locate the EQGAME.EXE file. Right-click on the file and select "Create Shortcut." You can rename this shortcut and drag it anywhere you'd like (most people like to put it on their desktop). Now, right-click that shortcut and select Properties. In the target box, you will see the path to the eqgame.exe file. We need to edit this so that it will pass an argument to that executable when the shortcut is launched. At the end of the text box (after any parentheses), add "patchme" (no quotes). Your target box should look similar to this:

"C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme

Or if you do not have spaces in the path, it will look like this without quotes:

C:\Everquest\eqgame.exe patchme
