The patcher is deleting lavastorm, nek forest........

file 787 (the patchers files folder)
<delete clienttype="Titanium">/arena_EnvironmentEmitters.txt</delete> <delete clienttype="Titanium">/arena.eqg</delete> <delete clienttype="Titanium">/lavastorm.eqg</delete> <delete clienttype="Titanium">/nektulos.eqg</delete> <delete clienttype="Titanium">/Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt</delete> <delete clienttype="Titanium">/wsock32.dll</delete> <delete clienttype="Titanium">/eqgame.dll</delete> </getServerFiles>

after the patcher finishes & I try to log in it. The load screen comes up & says spells & so on & so forth are out of date. I then use eqchange v23 to fix & log in........But Nek forest is still gone. when I zone in. its just a black screen. nothing. no graphics at all.

Might want to make sure you have privileges to add or remove files from program files directories. If you're using windows 7 and have UAC turned on, it might be easier to move your directory to C:/Everquest or something.

To verify these files are being removed, browse to your /Everquest folder and look for yourself. Also, inspect the spells_us.txt and other files' modified dates to ensure they are being updated.

Changing me resolution to 800X600 resolved the issue, I dont like the look but it works.

This thread isn't about wineq2.0, but I thought I'd mention it.

Download and install wineq2.0 (http://www.lavishsoft.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3&Itemid=4). The free version works fine. That will give some additional options for your eqclient.ini

my monitor is native resolution 1920x1080. this is how my video portion of eqclient.ini looks. Change the width/height depending on your monitor.

[VideoMode]
WindowedWidth=1920
WindowedHeight=1080
Width=1920
Height=1080
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WinEQWidth=1920
WinEQHeight=1080
WidthWindowed=1920
HeightWindowed=1080

That allows for fullscreening a window of eq, increases stability, and I recommend it.

Grey screen Nektulos.....

Evoken's fix worked just as he said. deleted nektulos.eqg and Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt fixed the problem. black screen gone.
graphics are fine.
