As much as I hate to say it, The level 49 enchanter DoT grasping embrace is doing WAY to much damage.
Grasping Embrace should do 710 damage total in classic
Grasping embrace here (I had to test it on Alliswear, since nothing else lives long enough) does 1793 damage. 50 initial damage and 21 ticks at 83 damage each
