No Matter What I Do - Spell File Out-of-Date

Redownloaded everything, followed all of the steps, manually installed - yet it will not let me log in because my spell file is not up to date.

Can someone please help?

Yes - I did patch.

I can play at this point every game that I tried to enter except for Project 1999 and Project 1999 PvP.

Sounds very indicative of not having the proper files in the proper location.

If you browse to your \everquest folder, manually verify the files exist. Create backup folder and move your dsetup.dll and spells_us.txt files into it.

After downloading the most recent patch changes, paste them into your \everquest folder. Visually inspect to ensure they have been created.

If you're using windows 7, you might have issues pasting or creating files in your directory under program files. You could try moving the entire installation folder to something like C:\everquest.

Lastly, if you have two different everquest installations, verify the one you're launching is the one targeting the folder you're modifying.
