Fading Nameplates?

So I recently got back from a long hiatus (little over a year) and one thing I noticed on my bard that has been quite problematic is mobs nameplates, I can only see the names over a mobs head if I am close.

I recall seeing nameplates from great distances before my break. is there a way to change this? was this a "not classic" fix?

I Guess for a better example if I am "X" meters away from a mob I can no longer see names over their head. but If i get closer I can. It kinda sucks identifying mobs that look alike at a distance. especially if they are all bunched up.

any idea's? :(

Check in your options and see if the Opacity is turned down for one of em maybe?
May be the problem, not too positive on that though. Worth a shot though.

May be the problem, not too positive on that though. Worth a shot though.I tweaked with every setting I could find to see if they would adjust, but nothing seemed to change it.

I'm going to venture to guess you, and other people may not have this problem? :(
