The staffs should be working for 49 - 60 and the sol ro focus should be for below that however the staffs don't do anything that the sol ro focus items don't already do.

1: Pet Power Increase (5)
2: Limit: Max Level(49)
3: Limit: Min Level (4)
4: Limit: Resist (Fire allowed)

Servant of Fire:
1: Pet Power Increase (10)
2: Limit: Max Level(60)
3: Limit: Min Level (49)
4: Limit: Resist (Fire allowed)

So basically the difference is it ONLY works on 49 pet pre kunark, but has double effect than the quest Foci's. So you still need the quest Foci's for any pets under 49.

wich is also what i remember from Live. The Quest Foci's added +1 lvl and the staffs added +2 lvl to the maximum lvl pet you can summon.

I believe right now the power of the two is identical. Come Kunark the staves will obviously be better (or should be!!). There should be some difference between Staves & SolRo right now, but there isn't.

ATM no it's not, the Torch of alna does the SAME thing the fire staff does...

& trust me on this that fire staff is no easy camp no one even believed they would drop cause no one ever saw one :/ Then it did and it doesn't do anything to the pet...

It might be broken then. We only state how its supposed to work, nof if it actually does work.
It's supposed to be double effect of torch on a lvl 49 pet. I'm not 50 yet and don't have it, so only you can test it out.

Think the drop rates on the fire staff was borked on Live too. Never seen it either. Back in the days people thaught you needed all 4 staffs *dropped* for epic. then the quest turned out a bit different. I also only got Water and Earth staff on live pre kunark. Never actually heard of anyone getting it from Hate

Ya they drop'd off the regular male revs, the earth came off the magi'p's the water off phinny and the air from sky.
