This community needs us all. Especially the people that surf the forums day or night because they want nothing more than to come play EQ again. Including myself. We should all stop making excuses and just play the game. Everyone keeps complaining about no one being on but the fact is everyone must do there part and log on for that ever to improve.

My two main complaints were XP which has improved. And /ooc which is now in game. I got half of level 40 in an hour last night with folks who weren't Nihilium.

Just curious I've heard many times it was unfair to holocaust that they got banned for exploiting Naggy? But they DID exploit Naggy after complaining about it yes? And then got caught exploiting Naggy? I'm not hating I'm just trying to get the story straight. (I was in Holocaust before StarWars Time...And I do love those guys even Dacbane) Is that what's keeping you away now? I tried to give Legacy of Zek a try this past weekend. But honestly I'm too lazy to figure out how to use MQ or how to dupe items. I applaud Devnoob. But it's a monumental task! All the custom servers have come and gone and no one has the code that Project 99 does.

My goal in this community is to experience Velious PVP the way it was or to all the haters of this project as close as it will ever get again! And Project 1999 Red is the best chance I've got. It might look slim but it's still my best shot.

I have no agenda here I just want what is best for the community. You're all part of the lasting EQ PVP community that exists which makes you all good people but winning is not crying!

Do your part and log in. Man up and go wipe Nihilium yourself instead of asking Rogean to do it for you.

It's impossible because to do this Noah would have to travel the whole world which at the time was not possible, whilst bringing 2 of each animal along with you and feeding them for the whole ride. Thousands upon thousands of animals. (some of which live in areas that are inaccessible without modern equipment, some are hybrids that you would have to find in very small biomes , some cannot be touched because of poisons they have all over their bodies, you could go on and on)

Not only that but he would have to construct a ship that has housing for each of these animals, lizards and amphibians need certain lights to have chemical reactions in their body vital to their survival (turning vitamin d into D3 I believe is the main concern, they can develop digestive and bone density problems fairly quickly)

You would have to deal with pounds and pounds of animal excrement that contains viruses that, at the time, had no cures and could be fatal.

You would have to make sure the larger, aggressive animals (rhinos for example) have barriers between them and other animals that could withstand the charge of a 3 thousand pound pissed off bulldozer.

Some animals require constant moisture to survive, like water buffalo and amphibians, in the event of a flood that covers the earth, there would be nothing but salt water and these animals would die out.

These are just some things I can think of off the top of me head.

But now we don't and we are any day now from a collapse.

I really don't think the average VZ/TZ'er will make it in Red99. They are use to easy power, establishing that power, and ruining your day after wards and every day after that. But with a 99 like grind. NO GM favors. Not being able to cheat or exploit- Be rest assured it probably won't happen.

You have to understand most VZ/TZ people are elitist. They think they are better than you! A few are. But most are not! They'' like any elitist! operate from power. Without that power they become nothing. (level 1)

If red99 comes out and any of them get behind it won't last brews.

In conclusion if the 99 population or the causal VZ/TZ'er that hate these "so called" elitist add any amount of pressure to these kids...most become cowards and fold. (I see a lot of quitting in the near future) The VZ/TZ'er might become the next dinosaur.

I've been trying out new mmos, tera, star wars, red99, rift buncha other shit and just been feeling bored with it all.

I haven't played red99 for awhile so it's not much of a EQ quitting post more so than I'm moven on from vids - think it's been a long time comming but like a crack addict I'm chasen the dream of playen EQ back in high school or WoW/Dota and shit after that.

Holo crew, TDT or whatever you guys wanna call yourselves probably some of the cooler guys I've played with overall - had a fun guild in WoW/TZ too, shits all about the people. Thanks for the pleasure of letten me hang with you guys.

I guess as my kids are rounding a year and a half it's about a bit more than just changing asses and making sure their fed, time to try to be the dad I always said I'd be when I was a kid judging my own.

Anyhow, deleted everything off my gaming comp and now just finishing up on my bedroom torrent/tv comp. Was a pleasure, have some good memories - but time to grow up, try to RMT my shit chuck or strip my guys bamzal =)
