Since I keep hearing Kunark is going to save the server classic is cashed etc. etc. I just wanted to see truly how many people are on the sidelines waiting for that Kunark.

I would vote for this option if it existed: Would come back and check it out, but unsure if I would stay.

Would come back and stay if there was a HUGE step up in the available pvp for casual players, Rogean interaction, events, reasonable xp. Would come back and likely leave if that was not the case.

Looks to me like all of the "yes" votes are players who still play, as you would expect them to vote. Poorly worded and by no means any barometer for the community at large.

So the population will drop from a 10 average to a 5 average? Dead server will still be dead.

I'd rather wipe it and release Kunark with a new server that has a few adjustments (somewhere between 69/99 exp curve, teams etc)

Yes, and except for 1, maybe 2 people who voted against kunark were part of the crowd who shouted burn it down from the second their toons corpses lay lifeless on the cold ground of norrath, at which time it occurred to them they just didn't have what it takes to win this box.

Nothing stopping anyone from logging in. Nothing would change with a wipe, would still be same stale content, would still be boring as fuck for everyone that doesn't want to raid, would still be completely pointless to pvp after the removal of legacy. Without something to fight over, or some manufactured reasons to pvp (leaderboards, pvp vendors), only content can provide that reason.

Kunark isn't really so much about the raid content. Lots of cool dungeons and neat pixels to fight over. Eventually theres VP, that sounds cool, but thats down the road.

Yeah I'm a big fan of Kunark but I'm doubtful it would do enough to cause enough momentum to end the cycle the server is currently in.

Well, its either compromise the server reputation with a wipe that will only provide a temporary, and even smaller burst of players than launch, or hope some fixes, new features and kunark will provide the boost.

Either way, crying on the sideline does nothing. Esp those who stand by shouting for a wipe purely out of spite towards Nihilum and their accomplishments over you.

Nirgon, you don't get chain rooted or snared any more. That fix, at least, is in place. It takes 80 mr to resist root reliably, 100 is just about guaranteed.

Yeah a twink in full crafted magic jewelry, hollowed bone bracers with a magic resist buff getting chain rooted by a mage pet last I saw. Yeah that was good. No thanks. Root is not a reliable spell, stun/blind are much worse, and whirl is impossible. Lemme know, it's not the case. Having a free farm of hate for gems (along with virtually no pvp) changes the resist perspective some I'm sure.
