Hey all,

Very interesting community here..

I recently had been craving everquest, so I started up on the official pvp server.

Surprisingly, I'm having a lot of fun. Mercs make the game pretty damn easy, but there aren't really any healers to level with anyways.

The game is very different, and I do still crave the difficulty of the good old days.

So... I have a few questions about this server before I go starting a new toon on this server:

1. Will the population ever increase again?
2. Is kunark released yet?
3. Where can I find a set of the current state of rules on the server?
Like what can you loot from other play kills, can you fear/charm outside of duels?
4. Is there anything that aids you in the leveling processes on this server other than normal? Any regular %xp bonus?

YES! Can only go up from here

Not yet, going to boost pop alot when it does :)

There are no rules yet, still waiting on the staff to figure them out

Not really, all the leveling exploits have been fixed by now so you're just going to have to grind it out alone, by yourself

I got to level 40 in like 30 hours on the official servers lol... I guess I could roll a druid on here.. would make a good solo and group char

No, no you didn't.

Prepare for an epic journey of over 250 hours (at minimum) to level 50. It's not about being max level though, its about enjoying the journey and all of the mid level 20-40 PVP and Grouping in game :)

Jeeze I spent an entire summer to get to like 39 back in the day.

The red server is presently scaled +100-1% from 1-50. So at 1, you have a 100% bonus, at 50 1%. On top of that, we have an additional +50% at the present time.

Pop will go back up during kunark. Right now, legacy is gone, so its just raid content. When theres more stuff to fight over, more bars to fill, epics etc, it will help. How much is anyones guess, but I'd estimate it will go up to 1-200 players depending on how long they wait.

I agree with Destin, the server pop will bounce back to 250+ once they drop kunark thats what everyone is waiting on

It's gonna be a challenge, but at least I will have all the spawns to myself!
