random video crashing

Hello,

I have 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M (SLI) in my laptop but i disable one when i play EQ. The game crashes in a few different ways. I play in windowed mode on windows 7 64 bit.

1) My video card will show and error. I was not fast enough to really see what the error was but was something to do with memory. My everquest screen will be all black but the game is still running.

2) The game and my laptop will completely lock up. I cannot use my mouse or keybaord at this time. Only solution is to turn laptop off and reboot.

3) The screen turns all grey and i need to reboot the system.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried WinEQ?


Craptanium isn't friendly with modern PC's it was released in 2005. WinEQ helps negate some of it's shittiness. In addition to CPU core fixes, it runs the EQ Play Nice feature and can fix some Windowed graphical bugs.
