Fails way way way more often than it should.

From ye olde Safehouse Forums:

Does my apply skill affect how long my poison lasts?
Uncertain. After reading accounts from a number of people, I'm inclined to say no. But no definitive testing has been done on this. Generally the only established information about the apply skill is that once you get over 100, you will very rarely fail to apply a poison.

When I hit (100) in Apply Poison I was still failing more often than applying. I'm at a higher skill now, don't recall off the top of my head, and I'm still failing about 30% of the time.

even at max skill it fails quite a bit. i lack experience how it was on live though though i think the 100% succes rate was only acheived with AA later on.

further i read the following:
The higher skill you have applying the poison, the faster you will be done applying it. At the start you will need 7 seconds to put a poison on your dagger, later it is rumored to be significantly less, but I still cannot accomplish that.

can anyone who played a rogue on live confirm / deny? here it doesn't seem to make a difference to how long it takes to apply.

I have maxed out apply poison (200) and I still fail commonly.
