Wrong Yield For Smithing Combine

you are correct in that your link is current recipie


Back shortly after HQ became availalbe on merchant they allowed Players to break it down using chisels. At that time it was you lost 1 of the subcombines in this process. so taking 3 larg bricks to make 1 block chisling you would end up with 2 large bricks.

This was nerfed very quickly due to platinum exploit which i will not post here as most players from that time know what it invovled. Their where so many people buying up the ore from merchant that folks would buy blocks and convert them down even with loss of one block.

They Gm nerfed it down so that you would only get 1 brick return when converting down with chisle as a way to combat the exploit along with heafty price hike on price of bricks from merhcant.
