Multiple instances so far (while fear kiting dwarves in BB) the mobs start warping few steps backwards / sideways over and over. Like they're fleeing normally, then suddenly it warps couple feet to side, takes a few steps there the same direction as it was going, then warps again, repeat like up to 4-5 times. Might have something to do with them roaming on a cliffside? Altho think I saw it go backwards on a flat surface too, but it was sort of inside a tree at that point.

Sorta hard to dictate where they're gonna go to get extensive research results. Do chime in if anyone else seen this!

EDIT: Aight seen it on flat surface too. It was trying to go forward (like kept walking normally forward), but kept warping to the side heading way more that way. Weird weird.

We had the same issue in Fear last night with a Glare Lord. It was snared and feared. It would run south for like 2-3 seconds, then warp up north past where it originally started going south, but be heading south still.

It feels like it's related to the patch notes about mobs turning around. it's like the server thinks the mob is still heading north, but the client thinks it should be heading south. So every second or two it syncs up and replaces the mob along a different travel route.

What kind of frequency? I tested fear kiting prior to patch and didn't see issues. Testing it right now on that dwarf and haven't seen warping yet.

Iunno, it's kinda random. Had it happen like 1/10 dwarves maybe. It seems like they do it until they'd change direction again, kinda fixes itself after a while rather than having to wait for them to hit into something solid.

Seen it more commonly on Guards Clendin and Dunil, the ones next to the banners entering the docks fort.

EDIT: Update info 11pm news: Caused apparently by npc being stunned mid-turn!
