The server was stable and classic. Great. It didn't succeed though did it? A hardcore classic Red server just does not work in today's gaming world. We all wanted something where you could level up relatively easily and just mass pvp/solo pvp all day if you wanted.

VZTZ was so great because getting max level did not take long, and you could still do a lot with out great gear. Plus a lot of us, including myself, were in college back then and could play 20 hours a day/pull all nighters with hunny buns and mountain dew code red.

Working 8 hours a day to come home and grind 2 gold in level 9 for 5 hours was just not going to cut it.

We'll never know if it could work, because it had a horrible start, and a staff preoccupied with other things.

Take the server with its present build, add a few things helping new players like exp bonuses, then keep the community updated on the timeline (actually accelerated) to give players something to look forward to and give them hope, and it would be a whole different ball game.
