Surely such a great server should be at 1000+ population.

I mean with such great features as, heavily propagated MQ use, selos working indoors, mobs warping through walls in every zone, pathing exploits in nearly every zone, GMs giving items to players, boxing, punishments being worthless because you can exploit a character to 50 again in 2 days, etc.

Where is this magnificent example of a server?

Its the general forum because r99 is still by far the best, most classic, most stable EQ pvp emu that exists, and it has the most potential and highest likelihood to once again be successful.

Anything that happens elsewhere just won't give you that warm feeling as long as r99 exists, so everyone knows why you cry burn it down.

If you win anywhere else, it will be like the champions of the japanese world series boasting themselves as the "best in the world." Actually a closer analogy would be like getting the gold in the special olympics while the real winners are in the actual olympics. There will always be that legit server (r99) where players were better, smarter, more organized, and more successful in every aspect of Everquest than your starting line up in the minors (other shitboxes).

Did I lose because I lost some PVP battles? If I were to make an alt and put him into Nihilum do I then win the server? What if I deguild, do I then instantly lose the server? Do I get continues? Are there Game Overs? The whole "winning" attitude is what is killing this community.
