Where are the best places to group throughout the low levels? I'm talking 10-20. Right now in blackburrow there is no one and it is making it hard to get very far.
Any good lists of zones with active lowbie groups?

The whole Qeynos side is a graveyard, and most likely be until Surefall get's it's druid port in. The standard leveling is oasis followed by Uguk. There are more alternatives than this, but in my experience, this is the newbie highway to cap, and you are going to run into people and find things going on. Don't forget "/who all 10 20" and just see where the highest concentrations of people in your range are. Of note is the fact that a person has to be targeted to invite them into a group, so I have found it best to agree to group before you make the run to X.
I hope this helps out, and have fun.

Crushbone has been very good from 7-15ish. EC is another areas for that level range.
After that Oasis has a decent number of people running around.

Nro dervs is also great and relatively safe.. also if your up for a challenge befallen has the best exp for that level if you can find a group willing to go there

At 10 I would say your best bet at finding a group would be crushbone. That can take you to 12/13 then oasis or unrest might be your best bet.

Couldn't find a port out, so I settled on a bind. I'm doing the gnoll fang quest and its pretty good xp. What guards is it going to make me KOS to?

Befallen is great to level 10 but then so is anywhere. After that, you're dealing with the toughest mobs in the game: necromancers. It's not very efficient at all for a group.

Probably the biggest killer for me on this server. If you can't find a group your screwed with no boxing. I've sat online for hours and accomplished nothing because there aren't any groups, or the ones that are on don't want anyone else. And this is oasis, one of the busiest "noob" zones. It gets worse at higher levels but my main is a druid so don't really need a group. But low level melee are just S.O.L.

A simple command in chat will help you out every time in this regard....Say you are level 10 looking for a group... /w all 7 15 ....This command will show you who near your level is on and where they are... Then all you have to do is travel there.

Yeah befallen is brilliant, although I tried and tried and could never get a group together for it on P99 :( Crushbone was good though, and you can stay there quite long if you start doing the castle area. And yeah doing searches for people and then asking individuals if they want to make a group, was the way I found most groups leveling up.
Although my class is good at soloing so I spent most of the time doing that. I can't even imagine trying to level up some classes :O

When could a Bard solo at Befallen?
And is it worth it to try to run from Qeynos to Freeport? Which is the best route?

Mummies and skellies prob around 14, but as said before the necromancers will tear you a new one.

And they're mixed in with everything to the point it's very inconvenient to say the least. Befallen is not a good or even average leveling location; that is why you don't see people leveling there.

I'm not sure anything can solo Befallen really. The mobs are pretty packed in to groups and train easy, so it's designed to be done by groups. Your only chance of soloing is if you outlevel it and it becomes pointless anyway, or if you are super pro and go super careful with lull type spells or something. And even then, it's an awful lot of effort, which compared to the alternatives probably makes it not worthwhile. But yeah, if you are lucky enough to find a good group to go there, it can be great!
As for Qeynos, isn't that whole region pretty dead in terms of players? It could probably be pretty fun out there if you are a solo king, especially in places like Blackburrow or whatever. But if you are looking for groupage, then yeah, get over to Freeport asap. You just need to make the long run across West Karana (easy as a bard, just steer clear of mobs and keep runnin). Once in NK you can either hang around and wait for a kind person to show up and port you, or if you have invis of some kind (I forgot when bards get invis song?) you can can carry on running. If you do the latter you go across NK to the far bridge. Then run through all those big mobs and run up the big long ramp to high pass. Then invis past all the gnolls, past high keep and past all the big orcs, and out in to Kithicor forest. Then if its daytime head straight through, if its night you better hug the zone wall very closely and be careful to avoid any mob you see. Then you'll be in West Commons, and again take care to head through to East Commons and that's where you are almost there. Remember to get a bind :)
Freeport is a good base of operations because if you are blessed with patience, you can get anywhere. You have N Ro, commonlands, befallen, oasis etc.. all on your door step. And then just a boat ride gets you to Faydwer if you want to do Crushbone / Unrest. Although if you decide to do that, then best to bind again there.
It's a fairly big journey but you only need to do it once. And even all that distance, I would be surprised if the whole journey took you longer than about 40 minutes or so.

p.s. If you can't invis or you are unsure of where to go, your best bet is to get to North Karana and get a port. There are lots of very kind wizards and druids on this server, and one will maybe already be there, or show up soon, or you could try your luck doing "/who wiz 35 60 all" and see if any are hanging around in a town or east commons, and then you could try asking if they would come and help a newbie. You can do the same with druids too. Not sure what level they all get those ports so if I ever have to do that I usually just type /who wiz 40 60 all.
