How/where are trades generally done here?

Not new to EQ pvp, but its been a while and I am new to red99...been messing around with some toons here for a couple of weeks and have considered playing for real if I ever get the time....

I keep wondering how trades are generally handled? I was on a team based pvp server before so the person you are potentially buying an item from killing you for the cash you have before the trade was never a possibility.

Meet at banks with guards?
