The recipe for Imbued Platinum Fire Ring (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Imbued_Platinum_Fire_Ring) doesnt work anymore and should be since cultural tradeskills are in game now.

Tried both with enchanted and unenchanted plat bar, non of them works anymore

Imbued Jewelry combinations

Little is still known about these, as they were added with little fanfare during the January 31 patch. They ARE restricted to being worn only by persons who follow the proper deity, however, any jeweler can combine the imbued gem with the enchanted metal. If you have additions to this list, please post them to the message boards. This will allow others to know of your experimentation while waiting for me to update this page. Note that not all of the gems listed have imbued versions

Something isnt right with the wayback page. The Imbued jewelery came in earlier than that. Tholuxe Paells server opened up in between the release of kunark and velious. I had and made crappy Imbued amber rings before velious. I would even further recall and say that I think the jewelry came in before the culture armors.

This guy is suposed to sell the new spell embue fire opal.
From October 5th, 2000. So the spell was at least in well before Velious, and imbued fire opals weren't used for anything else prior to those rings.

First reference I can find at graffe.com for the rings, which were VERY popular there. So looks like the Jan 31, 2001 date may be accurate. That said, they were implemented about 3-4 months after epics were, which is about where we are on the server now, isn't it?

I did research on this maybe a month ago. Yes this is velious erea stuff. Imbued jewelry gets put in game a month into the release of velious. I actually found an old post made by myself about how shit useless the imbued amber stuff was for clerics.

Any idea where we currently are on this? Seems like the spell should be in game already, available from Zordak Ragefire. I seriously remember this stuff being in game before velious.

Why is only the fire ring combine available? All deity combines should be available. I had did not combine with imbued black sapphire and platinum.

Made 4 of these a few nights back. The combine works. Went 4/4 at 250 JC.

I would imagine all Imbued pieces are in and next patch Blue Diamond items should have stats and Velium Blue Diamond Bracelets should be craftable.

I just confirmed myself that none of the imbued black sapphire combines work. Only effects me because I don't know of any other black sapphire imbue'ers

There are more then just enchanters that are Master Jewelers.

You are right, and hopefully one will respond to this (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234974) post. The creation restriction (which is an error if we are to believe the EQTC post) makes it really hard to get definitive info on whether or not these are in-game.

Confirmed with an Agnostic JC that Silver, Electrum, and Gold Imbued Diamond recipes are in-game. The Platinum combine is missing.

You don't have to be 250JC to attempt a combine. A level 1 mule with no skill can attempt it, but 98% chance he'll fail the combine.

If it doesn't work it'll give a "You cannot combine in this container" message.

I thought about doing that. Luckily I found someone with 250 skill and was able to create the items. The Imbued Platinum Diamond Ring (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=4716) is confirmed missing recipe.
